Could you be our Frank?

Due to illness, The Green Room Wilmslow urgently needs a leading man for our forthcoming production of 84 Charing Cross Road.

Frank Doel is a genial, experienced authority on literary treasures. As manager at Marks and Company, Antiquarian Bookshop at 84 Charing Cross Road, he corresponds with New York writer and collector Helene Hanff. Over a 20 year period their flow of transatlantic letters creates a firm bond and treasured long distance friendship in this beautiful play. Playing age is circa 40 – 55 and the actors will age up across the timeline of the play. Rehearsals Monday 23rd March, playing dates 18th to 23rd May.
