Emma Watson is nineteen, new in town, and, as with all good Austen heroines, in the market for a husband. Cut off by her rich aunt and dumped back home with her ailing father, Emma must marry, fast. Luckily there are plenty of potential suitors, including flirtatious Mr Musgrove and rich Lord Osborne. But that’s where Austen left the story… Will Emma get her happy ending? Can a new author keep the rebellious characters in check? And just what happens when the writer loses the plot?
