THE VICAR OF DIBLEY
27 Jan - 01 Feb (incl. Sat matinee)
A stage adaptation by Ian Gower and Paul Carpenter
Based on the original TV series written by Richard Curtis and Paul Mayhew-Archer and produced by Tiger Aspect Productions
Directed by Gerard Lennox
The Vicar of Dibley is coming to Guide Bridge Theatre. Fans of the original TV series and those who love a good laugh should come and meet your favourite characters from Dibley.
See stuffy David Horton and the members of the Parish Council react to the new vicar. Letitia Cropley (famous for her imaginative cooking combinations), Jim Trott (No no, no, no, no, yes), Frank Pickle (shall I minute that), Owen Newitt (questionable bowels and a strange attraction to sheep) all have a part to play.
Join us when they meet Geraldine Granger the first female vicar in Dibley who with the help of Alice Tinker (the verger) and her boyfriend Hugo Horton set the world to rights.
Will Alice and Hugo get it together? Will the Tellytubbies play a part?
As Geraldine nearly says, “I know true love when I see it, I also know true insanity, and I think I’ve had a little glimpse of that too”!
Join them for an evening of fun, frolics and really bad, but funny, jokes.
