Our ever popular Theatre Supper evenings will be held on February 9th and 10th at Woodford Community Centre.

We will be presenting two one act plays and a monologue.

Our one act plays are “Under Milk Woodford”, no prizes for guessing that it’s a “Woodford Players” production and other than it’s funny, you don’t get to know anything else because it’s a surprise!

The other one act play is a comedy by David Tristram and it’s called “Extraordinary Revelations of Orca the Goldfish”. For Henry Smith life was rarely dull. For Alice Smith life was rarely anything else. Enter Michel – French waiter – tall, dark, and available. Exactly what happened next, no-one’s quite sure …

Our monologue is the Alan Bennett classic “A Cream Cracker Under The Settee”. This was first performed by the wonderful Dame Thora Hird in 1987. A poignant piece full of pathos and humour in equal measure which never fails to strike a chord somewhere in your soul.

Tickets will be on sale in the Spring.
