A Victorian thriller.
Synopsis:Bella Manningham, a young, typically submissive Victorian wife, thinks she is going mad because she can’t explain the mysterious disappearances of familiar objects, sounds of footsteps in an uninhabited part of the family home and the ghostly flickering of the living room gas lights. Her abuser is her husband Jack. There is, however, a mystery behind Jack’s treatment of Bella, which becomes apparent with the arrival of a semi-retired detective, Sgt.Rough.
