Something to Hide is a 1950’s thriller set in a house in a small countryside village. The house is the part-time home of the successful novelist Howard Holt and his wife and publisher Karen. Howard and his mistress are staying at the house when unexpectedly Karen arrives late one night and inadvertently hits Howard’s mistress with her car, killing her. Howard agrees to help dispose of the body and from this point on, the true relationship between husband and wife begins to emerge. The arrival of a detective called to investigate seemingly unrelated matters slowly tightens the net around the couple.
