The two plays are A Slight Ache (1958) and Landscape (1967). This double-bill was presented at the National Theatre in 2008 and starred Clare Higgins and Simon Russell Beale.
Should anyone think that Pinter is deadly dull or obscure, this is the time to think again. These two short plays reveal his sharp wit and observation of human life. 2005 saw Harold Pinter win the Nobel Prize in Literature. He has been described as "The foremost representative of British drama in the second half of the twentieth century".
