Terence Rattigan's 1946 stage play set in the elegant Edwardian era was based of the famous Archer-Shee case, which became something of a cause celebre because of extensive newspaper coverage. 13yr old naval cadet, Ronnie Winslow is accused of stealing a five shilling postal order and expelled from Osborne Naval College. The family undergo much sacrifice to prove Ronnie's innocence.........
