Faced with a family gathering, cantankerous, miserable, misanthropic Stephen does his best to be difficult!
When his daughter, her dreary husband, their precocious daughter & not least the dog come to stay for the weekend, it’s enough to make him reach for the whisky bottle, & the sarcasm.
All Stephen wants to do is to be left alone. Not easy when his patient, long-suffering wife Virginia fills the house with guests & arranges a dinner party for them all.
