Due to the implications of the Covid-19 outbreak, Stockport Garrick Theatre has reluctantly been forced to CANCEL this audition.

Created by Brian Friel, one of Ireland’s foremost playwrights. Molly Sweeney has been unable to see since she was a child. Her lack of sight has never lessened her sheer joy in everyday life. But, when Molly marries the unemployed Frank, they embark on a relentless campaign to restore her sight. Eye surgeon Mr Rice agrees to operate in an attempt to restore his reputation but once the bandages come off, Molly and those around her begin to understand that things may not all be as they appear.
