'Death and the Maiden' by Arial Dorfman won the Olivier Award for Best New Play in 1992. Set in an unnamed South American country that until recently was ruled by dictatorship, this is a powerful political drama and psychological thriller. This is a challenging and thought provoking play which will leave the audience debating the boundaries between right and wrong and the rule of law.
