'The Secret Garden' is a magical mega Broadway musical based on the classic children's book by Frances Hodgson Burnett- book and lyrics by Pulitzer prize winner, Marsha Norman, with music by Grammy award winning Lucy Simon, sister of Carly Simon.
This musical will be found enchanting by both children and adults alike and shows us the power that ''one small girl'' can have when she ''wants things to grow''. This production has a trio of award winners involved- Joe Meighan is Director, Mark Goggins is Musical Director and they are joined by set designer Barry Purves who is a BAFTA and Oscar Nominated animator.
Not to be missed this will be a show to remember. Research indicates that The Altrincham Garrick's production will be one of the few full scale productions to have been performed in the UK though it is a huge hit in the USA.
