A Tragicomedy by Gillian Plowman
In the downstairs flat are Oz, who has never recovered from his mother's death, and Bunny, whose workaholic lifestyle led to estrangement from his wife. Upstairs are Robin, a middle-class housewife unable to overcome a personal tragedy, and Julia whose obsessive thoughts of men drew her into prostitution. With the four attempting to regain normality after being prematurely discharged form hospital care, the play truly comes to life at a disastrous party with the four desperately attempting the niceties of social intercourse. Exploring the relationships between four mismatched individuals, this endearing play will have you laughing and crying in equal measures.
