Hilary, a stately culinary goddess, is left by her delinquent husband, Kenneth, for the younger, slimmer and prettier Laura. But Laura cannot cook to save her life. However, it is not her life that is in danger, as the philandering wretch finds himself caught between two women for whom ‘hell hath no fury’.
A darkly comic exploration of contemporary love and marriage that explores what it is to be ‘man and wife’, The Woman Who Cooked her Husband serves up direct, frank and gruesome humour and asks “is revenge best served hot?”
