An exciting vocal technique course with Sue Radcliffe

Come and find your theatrical voice!
GMDF is delighted to annouce that it will be hosting a vocal technique course on Sunday 24th June 2018 at Hyde Little Theatre's Studio 9, Market St., Hyde. SK14 1RJ  9.30 - 4pm

Places are limited so please don't delay either booking or letting Carla know of your interest. We feel that this would be an ideal opportunity for youth leaders to gain knowledge that they can take back to the future of the amateur theatre movement. It's also a great opportunity for actors and directors alike.

Any queries please contact Carla
Sue has been involved in Drama and Performance all her life.

It all began with elocution lessons when she was 3 years old.  She attended these lessons until she was 18 and passed all Trinity College and LAMDA examinations including Gold Medal and Teachers' Diploma (Practical). Sue went on to qualify as a Drama Teacher and worked in mainstream primary and secondary schools, in special schools and as a teacher of the deaf at GCSE and A level and being responsible for many school productions  - West Side Story and Grease being two favourites.

Her experience outside the field of education in schools includes delivering sessions for privately run theatre schools, setting up and running a supper theatre and involvement in a murder mystery performance group.

Since teenage years, Sue has been constantly involved with a number of amateur theatres – mainly as an actor but also as a director. Years of experience has taught her a lot but it has always been important to her to continue to work on improving my teaching and drama/acting skills and so over the years she has taken opportunities to attend courses and workshops in places as far afield as The Royal Exchange Theatre Manchester, The RSC Stratford and The Pop-up Globe and The Q Theatre in Auckland New Zealand.

Wherever she may be in the world she seeks out theatrical experiences
