‘Early One Morning’ is Bolton writer Les Smith’s true story of Great Lever soldier James Smith, who after 3 years of fighting in some of the fiercest battles of the war, finds himself on trial for his life for desertion.
This is an enourmously moving and thought provoking play which will give actors the chance to stretch themselves and explore the horrendous reality of war.
