Four couples hoping for a chic and laid-back diner party at the home of their government minister friend are swiftly disappointed when events start with a dazed host unable to speak and a gunshot wound to the ear. Car crashes, bad backs and healing crystals all contribute to the disastrous evening that leads to lie upon lie and cover-ups galore culminating in a fantastically concocted explanation to the police…
